Tooling, used to produce customers' product, is made by GLE in many different configurations. we manufacture special wear parts, drill bushings, punches, dies and die inserts for forming, piercing, perforating, swaging, sealing, crimping and compacting. We produce die plates and die inserts for extruding, drawing and sizing. We provide special tools for burnishing, roll forming, grooving and broaching. Components
Components, produced to a manufacturers design, are incorporated in the customers product and become an integral part of them. Some components that we manufacture include Precision Carbide dies, print wires and guides, valve scats, rotary bushings, shafts, bearings, thrust washers, precision ways, precision buttons, needles and plungers. These parts are used in industries such as: Electronics, computers, fluid metering, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, waterjet cutting and cleaning, and machining fixtures, (chucking, holding, and locating devices).
Our manufacturing facility includes drilling, milling, turning; centerless, OD, ID, and surface grinding; honing and lapping; brazing; and electrical discharge machining (EDM). We produce parts which require brazing or cementing and press-fit assemblies. Combining dislike materials is not uncommon at CLE.
